Passports - Kids

Did anyone bother getting them for their young children? My kids are 5 yo and 10 mos. We don't plan on doing ANY international travel in the near future so do you think it's necessary they have them at this age?

TIA! Chat Icon

Unless you plan on going out of country any time soon then don't bother.

Children's passports are only good for 5 years anyway so definitely wait till you know you will need it. Doesn't take that long to get. Maybe longest is 6 weeks. We got one for both boys when they were babies bc we go to Aruba every year. My 4 yr old has a pic on it from when he was 6 months old. LOL

LOL

I think I'll wait. We're just going to Disney this year and it's highly unlikely they will be leaving the country for years and years so I guess it's not really necessary to have. Any vacation we will take with them will be around the U.S.

Thanks for the advice. Chat Icon
