Domestic? No, not at all. Probably don't even need ID. I pack her birth certificate just in case though (it's all she has, besides her library card!).

We fly often and I have never had to show any sort of ID, not even a birth certificate. If you have a lap baby, you will need a BC though.

We flew jet blue to Orlando in dec with DD (she was 7 months then) & didn't need anything- not even a birth certificate. I would check with ur airline tho bc policies may vary

Kids under 18 do not need ID unless they are lap children to prove that they are under 2. I have brought copies of BC have been told they weren't needed on domestic flights.
