I’m so glad you posted this question - I was also debating Saturday vs. Sunday. For us, an early party is out due to dh’s work schedule. We figured a party that gives the pizza relatively near a mealtime (as opposed to, say, 3pm) is a better alternative. 12:30 seemed too middle of the day, and the eating then isn’t until 1:15 and I was worried if kids would get hangry. So that leaves us with the 4:30 party start time (5:15 food) and we are choosing the Saturday because I don’t want to come home on a Sunday at 6 with her to open presents and wind down. It was process of elimination. Dd is turning 6.

Where are you having it? My DD is turning 6 too.

Coolcraft in wantagh. We had her 4th birthday there too and she asked for another party there.

This is where I'm looking, too. Did you do the plaster craft or stuff a teddy? I'm guess it is was good if you're going back?!

We did the plaster craft. Honestly, it’s one of the cheaper parties around, and dd isn’t much into the more active physical places. It’s perfect for an all-girl party and they like that there’s actual licensed characters to choose from to paint. There is a little down time while girls are finishing up and the crafts are drying that they fill with video games, and then some dancing once everyone is done.

Thanks!

We were considering stuff a teddy and I actually find it very expensive- $400 for the first 10 kids and $25 for each additional. We would have 20-25 kids, though.

Just wanted to add it's good for boys, too. We had DS's 5th birthday there and it was perfect.
