Party question.....please assure me
Does this sound like enough food for about 40 people:
Steak
Shrimp
Burgers
Dogs
Sausage and pepper/onion
Baked Ziti
6 Foot Hereo
Rice
Pasta Salad
Potato Salad
Mac Salad
Sauerkraut
Onions

Clam Dip
Fiesta Dip
Zucchini Pie

Pepperoni/assorted Italian meats

Sounds perfect to me! You may want to add a veggie platter in the apps and it's perfect! We did that for 4th of July at my parents' house and it went over really well.

I don't know how much of everything you plan on making but it sounds good. Maybe a regular salad?
Just have plenty of burgers and hotdogs on hand in case you need more.
We have a lot of BBQ's and if I ever have more people than I expect, or if I think I am short on food (which I always think I am, yet I always have a ton of leftovers  ) i will make the burgers and hotdogs first and put them out and let people have them to fill up on a little bit before the main stuff comes out.

For burgers, dogs, steak, and shrimp, I would just have enough for one serving each. People probably won't want one of each, but if they do then you should be fine.
