Miranda tells me she wants a Duck party???? As in a rubber duck party. I told her we can put girl rubber ducks in the favor boxes. I am too excited for a tea party and besides how on earth do you do a 5 year old party around rubber ducks.

Miranda tells me she wants a Duck party???? As in a rubber duck party. I told her we can put girl rubber ducks in the favor boxes. I am too excited for a tea party and besides how on earth do you do a 5 year old party around rubber ducks.
What time of year is the party? Can you have the party somewhere to feed ducks?
One of DD's friends is obsessed with rubber ducks. They did a party with this stuff from Birthday Express and the kids played games like Lucky Ducks and they did a version of apple bobbing with with rubber ducks that had different colors marked on the bottom, and then they got a prize based on the color.
Favors were little bottles of bubble bath, birthday rubber duckies from Oriental Trading and a bath mitt.

I never see ducks out here but I can look into it.
I was really trying to avoid having any kind of party at home.  But it is her birthday and I want her to be happy. I'll ask again in a few weeks since we have time. Until then I'm going to keep looking for the tea party ideas.

They can decorate their own plain white ceramic tea-cups with jewels and paint pens
