Party favor logistics

I am having a second birthday party for my daughter that is a disney carnival theme. We will have a few carnival games set up on the patin for the kids to play. Most of the kids are in the 2-4 range so they will just be playing for fun. I don't want to give out tickets or hand out prizes for each kid that plays since it would be too hard logistically.
So here is my question. I have a bunch of small little prizes (light up rings, tiaras, gliders, whistles, etc) and then I have nicer favors for the party. Should I have a prize bucket outside next to the carnival games so that kids can pick a prize after they play? I have enough that everyone could get more than one, etc. Or should I just have a large prize table inside with the little prizes and the favors and let them take everything from there?
Thanks!

I think I would put them next to each game. Instant gratification!

That is what I was originally leaning towards.
Do you think it is okay to just have the prize bucket out there and the parents would be responsible for helping their kids choose a prize. Since they are little I am guessing the parents will stay with them and I won't have one kid taking everything from the bucket :)
