Parents TMI!

So when my uncle was TTC, he and my aunt were BDing like every day (they were very open about TTC! and now she's 7 months!). So when I said we would try to have a baby right after the wedding, my mom insisted on telling me IN FRONT OF MY FATHER that we shouldn't do it too often because DH needs time to replenish the sperm. I thought my dad was gonna have a stroke.

BUT THEN on Father's Day, I told DH while my parents were over that fertility friend changed my ovulation day. When DH walked away, my dad laughed and said So what does it mean when you're ovulating? Does that mean date night is different or something?



I'll need to learn not to avoid TTC talk in front of my parents now!

haha... that's funny. And it's true about not doing it everyday. My mother told me that as well. She said that when they were TTC me, it didn't work because they did it too often rather than every other day. Now, that was just information I just did not need to know

That's funny! I'd be a little too to discuss DETAILS of TTC with my parents

FWIW, my doctor said that we should BD every other day.

ha That's why DH and I didn't tell people we were were TTC especially parents! cause basically we would be telling them we were BDing ALOT! lol my dad wouldn't be able to take it! It's bad enough I'm pregnant and that confirms to my dad we had sex! lol
