Parenthood
Just started watching the episode but I had to post already...
the beginning with shopping for the baby supplies, it annoyed me so much. Because isn't Sarah going to help her shop and tell her what she needs and also of course this is expensive-- but once again, wouldn't her family spoil her and give her almost everything she needs? Julia done with kids, Adam is probably done with kids and I'm sure Jasmine has stuff to spare. They would be so happy to give of all their old stuff to her... Between the three of them and then Sarah and Grandma chipping in for stuff-- why wouldn't they be making her feel like everything would be covered?
I don't know why that annoyed me lol

Im kinda sick of how they portray $ on this show. Adam is trying to keep a biz making nothing afloat yet has time to teach cooking class at the school everyday? And that school has to be costing them $ as well yet christina can drop everything and run it? fat chance!!
I like how they addressed these issues with crosby but again where is the money for that party coming from?? :)

Yes, the money thing annoyed me too. They all look and act like they have so much money so it's weird when they say "we are late on our bills" or "we can't afford a $2,000 trip". However after planning a few at home birthday parties for DD, I see how every little thing adds up and that "at home" hogwarts party seemed mighty costly to me lol...

I can understand why they showed them in the baby store. They used that as the intro for her asking for a raise.
For me it seems she is a little clueless, how does she not realize that the business isn't doing good?
I would guess that Christina is getting some kind of salary from the school and public funding...
I can't wait to see what happens with Joel. I feel like that story line is so real...
