Ughh. So upset I missed it last night. I cant wait to get home and watch it. Ill check back tomorrow, so I dont see spoliers.

SPOILERS....
Felt so bad for Max in this episode, especially when he did the right thing by apologizing and asking to go to the basketball game.
Joel is being a little out of line I feel like, I still don't like the whole Julia/Joel storyline this year.
Amber has always annoyed me. I almost wish they made her leave and kept Haddie instead.
Why does Sarah get so many guys? Can I just ask that? She's like a magnet and gets 1 offer after another... whats the attraction??

None of the other story lines are that interesting

Joel is being a prick. Her explanation and coming clean were good and he's blowing it way out of proportion. It's just a kiss…nothing more.
Sarah-still wish they'd kill her off.
Amber-I'm in the minority because I actually really like her this season.
This show is really starting to piss me off, haha! It's like they all have these AMAZING, far-fetched TV jobs: painters, photographers, running a music studio, campaign managers, etc.. Really. I'd be more interested in seeing them with boring jobs and being like legit human beings.

I agree. I miss when Adam was at his shoe desk job and Julia was a stressed out lawyer who interacted with interns and Amber couldn't hold down a job. It all felt more real. Now every situation seems too good to be true.

See, I think Joel's reaction is dead on. You're stressed, you're tired, you're supporting the family, and here your wife is hanging around with some other guy. And add to that, he was a SAHD and never found himself in that kind of situation. I think he's anger is normal.
I don't really feel Julia was as innocent as she made herself out to be. She was flirting back and getting excited when she got a text from the other guy. I think she realized her mistake but I think she wasn't the innocent bystander she made herself out to be, I think ultimately Joel will come around.
But I agree with everything else. Their jobs are awesome, their houses are awesome...........everything is perfect. And Sarah annoys me too. She's such a flake.
There are some things I enjoy this season, some things I don't.

Right? And even that job…a sneaker designers was ridiculous. Let's not forget Jasmine-the professional dance! High profile contractors. So unbelievable. Maybe that's why I liked Ryan a little more than the average joe. He seemed believable.

Agreed. Julia def has or had feelings for that guy. Even when she told her brother about him she couldn't say she didn't have feelings.
Joel had no problem being a stay at home dad. Now he's under a lot of pressure and his wife is unhappy. He can't win.

Joel was home when it was just Sidney as well though. Victor being in the family has added a whole new dynamic and this school year has been so hard on him. I feel like Julia is doing the best she can. Also in the 1st season I believe there was a Mom he was spending to much time with and Julia was very upset as well.

I agree with this. I think this storyline is something a lot of people can relate to in their lives.

I switch back and forth between being angry at Joel and Julia.
And I would like Haddie to come back. They don't even mention her anymore.
Amber can be whiny and dramatic and I am not sure why all of the sudden she can hold down a job and never gets fired for creating fights with bands. Crazy.
I love Jasmine.
And I also love the Ray Ramono storyline and how they are making him realize he may have aspergers. It's interesting.

My brother has autism and he is exactly like Max. Its uncanny. The actor that plays Max is amazing.
And I know I am in the minority, but I like the Amber storyline. I know a lot of immature, impulsive, girls in their early 20's. I have cousins that are a lot like Amber, actually. And I think she makes bad decisions, but isn't pretty realistic for a 20 year old? Especially someone with a mother like Sarah....who is so needy and impulsive herself?
I like watching her try to figure it out.

I like how they handled the Julia/Joel thing too because it seems relatable. Its not just that she just randomly cheated. She was feeling lonely, unsure of herself, etc. and looked outside her marriage. It seems like how a lot of cheating really happens...its not black and white, there is some ambiguity about who is right and wrong. I think its good writing that we kind of don't want to side with either of them.

And I totally agree with the jobs thing. They all have these crazy jobs. Like htf is Sarah a super? And the Luncheonette? C'mon. And Christina is out of politics for like a zillion years and almost wins a mayoral race? Like she didn't want to run for something more reasonable, like town council, lol. Oh and Joel is out of the construction business for some time and comes back and gets a crazy contract with all these people under him?
But, its TV, right?
