panic- missed phone call from dr

tonight i discovered i missed dr's call from 530ish today around 7 30ish. message says just to call him back. i called office, got worker - she said no one was in office - i questioned what it could be- he only calls when something is wrong - i explained i had pain in lower stomach today and called earlier but that dr told whoeever who told me that was fine.. and that i had a sonogram ysterday. the person said he probably wanted to go over sonogram results (i get sonograms every week for a number of reasons but everything has been fine lately- he never calls -he waits till he sees me- i call back few minutes later - this time office closed, hit 0 for emergency - got person "answering service" told me no way to reach him unless medical emergency. so now i just wait until tomorrow morning. i am 35 weeks. what could be wrong?

baby is slightly smaller than average but sonotech was not concerned. plus my husband was a small baby. i also met with pediatrician yesterday and mentioned baby size and he said not to worry.

baby appears to be developing normally all this time, all these sonograms, and non-stress tests- so it can't be anything too serious right? they would have caught something serious by now right?

if it was an emergency he would track me down- call my husband? call my mom on record- right?

Dont know why he would call but i get sonos at least twice a week and all results are discussed then and there. The only time i have been called other than to confirn appts is to discuss test results. Was blood drawn? Or maybe a urine culture.
at 35 weeks i dont see them finding anything new with baby so my guess its lab results. Hope everything turns out ok.

maybe to discuss lab results? I can't see him wanting to discuss anything related to the sonogram. I would think he or the tech would talk about it immediately after. Hope all is OK. Keep us updated!

no recent lab tests ... except two weeks ago and that came back fine they take urine every time but test it there for protein (ithink?).. i dont think they sent it away again??? i had a trace of protein two visits ago which prompted more urine that same visit and blood work but those results came back fine..
