Painting clouds...should I?
The babies room was painted by a a painter. The top hald is sky blue and the bottom half is green. It was done this way so it could be like a sky/land effect. I wanted to paint clouds on the blue part but now I am afraid I would mess up the paint if the don't look right.
HAs anyone painted clouds before is it hard to do?

Re: Painting clouds...should I?
before i changed the paint- try to see if you like the way it looks - get white contact paper and cut into clouds and tack up - contact paper should peel easily off the wall if you want to do it permemantly or you don't like it

Re: Painting clouds...should I?
i saw this at one house i looked at and it looked like the clouds parts was done with a sponge. it looked ok. they also put a real white picket fence up on the "green" and nailed it to the wall. like i said it looked ok. more than anything it was creative.

Re: Painting clouds...should I?
My contractor just did this in our nursery and it came out awesome, I watched him it is soooooooooo easy!!!!! the ceiling was white, he painted a light blue using a big paint brush and a woolie ( like a big duster) then painted on white and a darker blue with a small brush and used a small woolie to get the swirls. I will try to post pics. He used the clould kit from home depot for the tools but did not do it the way they say, he did it his way.
edited to say we went with a sky b/c when the baby is lying down I didnt want the ceiling a stark white
