Pain in lower right abdomin... ?
I've never really felt this before, it's a steady pain on the right lower side of my abdomin and I can also feel it in my right thigh a little. It also hurts when I push on my stomach that area.
As soon as I got out of bed I felt it.
Not due for AF for another week.
Any idea what it could be? Should I call a doctor this afternoon if it doesn't go away? I'm just concerned b/c i've never felt this before.

I am not a Dr. but from what I remember the left side has the important organs and the right side is..ummm ohhh did you eat any spicy food? The right side is when you call the gastroentronologist.

USUALLY PAIN IS:
Right side: Appendix, Gall Bladder, Ovaries, Intestines
Left Side: Colon, Intestines, Ovaries

A couple things:
Appendix
Ovulation
IBS or Crohns
I think it may be appendix...get it checked out before it gets worse.
I'm not a doc, but I play one on TV

Could be anything - but if you are concerned I would get it checked out if it is bothering you as it could be an ovarian cyst or appendicitis - do you have nausea or stomach issues?

if it is your appendix it will hurt when you walk or move. if you press on your abdomin where the pain is and it is painful when you release the pressure that is the a sign it's your appendix too.
You would probably have a fever if it is your appendix as well.

Nope no nausea, bleeding, fever or anything. I feel totally normal except for the pain in that spot.
If I push on it, it hurts and then when I let go it feels better, but I still feel it a little. Hard to explain... now i'm getting nervous.
I'm going to see how I am after lunch and then call the doctor.

I had that once for 4 days straight. I had a pelvic sonogram and was told I was fine, but who knows, i seem to have 5000 medical issues all of a sudden

That's what I think because a few days before I actually get my period, I have that similar pain esp. when I apply pressure.

I had appendicitis. The pain started off kinda slow, so I ignored it for a while (yes, some guys *can* deal with pain....   ). After a few hours, I couldn't stand straight, so I went to the ER. I guess if it is appendicitis, and it progresses slowly, you could have discomfort for a while before it gets really bad. Wouldn't hurt to get it checked out. If it starts to really hurt, go to an ER.

It could be your appendix.
Do you feel like you have a fever?
I think my mom ran a fever when she had appendicitis.
Another possiblitly is ovulation or maybe pregnancy.
Call your Dr. It wouldn't hurt.

jess - just go to a doctor - get the pain checked out.
best case - it could be gas or something stupid. worst case - its better just to rule that out.
