Owwww!
My lower back hurts SOOOO badly right now that it hurts to sit for any more than a few minutes and I'm occassionaly getting really sharp pains in my abdomen...they're like O pains, but amplified by a lot...I think AF is on her way & she's in a bad mood this month If I'm not pg (which I don't think I am), I'm actually hoping that she is on her way...these pains keep reminding me of when I had really large cysts in the past Ugh - 3 1/2 hours until I can head home...

Re: Owwww!
Thanks ladies
That's a great idea Jess - thanks! I'm going to run to CVS during my lunch break so that I can pick them up & give them a try. Hopefully they'll help with some Tylenol
It just stinks - on top of my back, I also get the sharp pains in my sides/abdomen if I move a certain way or turn too quickly. I think I'd be better able to handle the pain if it were just one or the other...the 2 together is making me

oh hon - i soooooooo know the feeling. The heat thingies will help a little. I personally would do aleve (if you can) - because has a muscle relaxer quality to it. Naproxen is a standard muscle relaxer - and that's in Aleve...

Re: Owwww!
You're so sweet for checking - thanks!
I went home during lunch, found my old heating pad & actually brought it back to work with me. That, coupled with a few Motrin have helped a lot!! I'm still aware of the pain(s), but they're way more tolerable now...thank goodness! Thanks so much for recommending the heat!
How are you feeling?

Re: Owwww!
oh - i'm so glad you're feeling at least a LITTLE better!!! Make sure the heating pad has the moisture thing in it. Moist heat makes the difference....the heating pad without it can actually cause it to ache more (you're talking to an EXPERT here on this stuff - i had spinal surgery 3 years ago).
i was feeling miserable, but i recently ate lunch and took my cough medicine. I read on the slip the pharmacist gave me - it's not just a cough medicine - but an antihistamine too - i was surprised! that is really helping and i took it like 30 minutes ago! I'm a little less stuffy already!

I was actually wondering the same thing...my last 2 AFs were "normal," but maybe the symptoms that you've been getting are finally catching up with me too. I usually get mild cramps & that's it, but this is a whole other ball game. My back's so sore that I'm actually walking funny...have you been getting back pain too?

yea my back never used to hurt and now it has been.. sometimes its bad! but the stomach pains are the WORST! i cant even deal with it.. i never had to deal with pains like this, and it took a little while after my MC too.
but the doc said its normal.. after a pregnancy your body changes.. hang in there, hope you feel better soon!
