Ovulation strips
I bought ovulation strips for this month and I'm on CD8. I have a 30 day cycle. When do I start using them? I was thinking CD12. TIA!

I would say start on day 11. Do you know when you usually O? The last couple of months I've had a 30 day cycle - Oing on or about day 15. I get a surge on day 12 though - so you may want to start day 11, just so you don't miss it.

I think I o around CD15/16/17/18, just based on CF. I'll start using the strips on CD11, though. Thanks!

According to the instructions that come with the ClearBlue, EPT and early-pregnancy.com Ovulation strips, with a 30 day cycle, you should start testing on Day 13.

I just bought OPK strips too and I'm on CD 9. I am actually going to start them today. I O'ed on CD 12 last cycle, so I'm starting now so I don't miss it. According to this chart, you should start on CD 14 with a 30 day cycle. Good luck!!

I have ABOUT a 30 day cycle....sometimes 29, sometimes 32, etc. I'm starting the OPKs on CD12.

I would also use mymonthlycycles.com...it's pretty accurate...I used opk's this month and I wasted 3 of them testing on day 11...my cycle is 28 days and the website told me day 14 I would o and the test confirmed it that day too....

My test instructions say a 30 day cycle should start testing on CD 13.

Thanks ladies! Mymonthlycycle has me o'ing on CD17. I guess I'll wait until CD12 or 13 to start using the strips.
