Ovulation??? How do you know if you're not??

How do you know if you don't ovulate??

Since I've been off BC pills (since July) my cycle went from 25 days with AF lasting 5 days to 48 days and AF lasting 4 days.

I know it's a long cycle but at least regular. Should I be concerned about ovulating? What are symptoms that you are not ovulating, if any?

I knew I wasn't because I wasn't gettting my period.

But you can start charting - after you ovulate, your temperatures will go up.
But a basal thermometer (at a drug store, like $10) and start taking your temp when you get up in the morning. After you ovulate you will notice a spike in your temperature.
If you don't ovulate, you won't get this spike, your temperature will remain pretty constant.

Sorry don't know any "not" ovulating symptoms. But I did read that you can get AF and not O and not O and get AF. Have you talked to your Gyno? The cheapest way would be to do like the PP said and get a basal thermometer. Good Luck

Some signs that you are probably ovulating include:

-BBT rise (usually lasts throughout your leutal phase which is typically 9-16 days)

-changes in cervical muscus that go from sticky to egg white consistency

-ovulation pains

You could try temping each morning with a BBT thermometer or try using OPKs. Good luck

temping / charting is very important
i am kinda glad im not the only one with these super long cycles after BCP
