Oversupply issue-bfing moms
So I think I have an oversupply issue especially on the right side. I have been only offering one side during each feeding. Anything else I can do to help regulate it. Is been a bit painful and I'm terrified of getting clogged ducts.
I nursed twins 2 years ago..do you thing my body "remembers" and is producing a lot of milk?
Ds will be 2 weeks on monday

you could always pump the rest of it to get a freezer supply....
or switch which side you start with each time.

I had oversupply issues and I block fed for almost two weeks before going back to normal two-sided feedings. A few times I was painfully engorged so I pumped the engorged side but only enough to relieve the pressure, if you pump a full feeding, your body will still continue to produce that much milk, so that will defeat the purpose of trying to regulate your supply.

It has happen to me 2x with my 2 and 3. Nice binding bra, ice or cabbage leaves after feedings and DO NOT PUMP hand express if you need to relieve some of the engorgement. I still only am feeding on one side. It took a couple weeks for my supply to regulate.

Wait a little while before worrying about oversupply. You're only two weeks pp, so your body is still trying to figure out how much to make. FWIW I had/have a lot more than I did the first time, and I think it's a combination of having a second child and a successful VBAC.
