Overnight potty training

Dd has been trained during the day for 4 months but I let her have a nighttime diaper. This week I took away the diaper and she wet the bed 3 days in a row. Do I wake her in the middle of the night to pee to avoid this? Any tips are welcome.

I think I ended up just lucky with ds who took to it right away, we put him in a pull up for the first week when he became potty trained but he always woke up dry and/or woke up in the middle of the night crying bc he had to go potty. So after the first week we left him in his underwear at night also. But what helped I think is that we wouldn't let him have any drinks an hour before he went to bed, and put him on the potty right before he went to bed. She might have just gotten used to having the diaper on at nighttime and was just used to using it, just stay consistent with the underwear at night and im sure she'll realize that she's not wearing a diaper and that she doesnt like to pee in the bed and will stop.

Not sure if this is right or wrong, but what I am doing is keeping him in a pull-up at night despite being daytime trained. About 2 months ago, he started staying dry for naps and I took pull-ups away completely during the day. Around the same time, he started waking up by himself in the middle of the night with the urge to pee. I would take him to the bathroom and then put him right back to bed. He would then wake up dry. A week ago, he stopped waking up at night to pee, but is still waking up dry. I think I'll wait a couple more weeks to see if this is "for real" before completely taking pull-ups away all together. I was reading that in order to be night trained, kids need to have the proper bladder control, a nervous system ready to signal his body to wake up during the night when the bladder is full and enough of a hormone that helps suppress the urge to pee. It's nothing we can control, so I am just waiting until his little body is ready. HTH!

Thanks for the advice, she has taken to training so well, I hope she gets used to sttn with no accidents. I def need to stop liquids sooner before bed, she's so used to having milk at night. Def a bad habit I let go.
