Re: Overnight anniversary ideas
What about a place like Mohegan Sun? My husband and i did that in April for our anniversary. We had a great time.

Re: Overnight anniversary ideas
My husband just surprised me with a overnight getaway..
We drove into NYC, had dinner at Haru- Times Square, ( my favorite sushi place when I lived in city on upper east side). Had fron row tickets to see If/Then, walked around Times Square, stayed over at a Fairfield inn and suites in 35th and 5th.. Perfect and fantastic view of Empire State Building.... Got up and walked to the high Line- which was absolutely beautiful, did entire mile and a half of it.... Then walked to Max Brunners for lunch... Which was cute...
Great getaway, felt like we were gone for days but only overnight...
MIL watched kids...
You don't have to go far to enjoy!!!

Re: Overnight anniversary ideas
We are in the same situation. 1 or 2 nights away from DS and we don't like the city.
We usually go to AC and spend most our time at the beach and walking the boardwalk.
I would go to the Caesars Poconos place if it wasnt so expensive (or I wasnt so cheap lol)
We were also looking into Seaside Heights and Long Beach Island, NJ
