OVER $4.00 by my house
While I was driving to work this morning, I saw the first station to go over $4.00 for regular, this is where I usually buy gas and is generally 3-4 cents cheaper than the rest in the area.
I think I know what I am buying with my stimulus check.

What I find most unbelieveable was the fact that Reg gas was $3.85 on Friday night. Saturday morning, it went up to $3.96.

That's because the price of a barrel of oil jumped to over $125/barrel on Friday.
Saturday morning it was up to $3.95 by us from $3.85 Friday night in Massapequa Park.

I paid $3.95 a gallon in my 66 Beetle this past weekend.
I think I will be driving that car until the prices go back down.

i am in south massapequa and most of the gas stations are 3.99 or 3.95 by me, but the hess just west of hicksville rd on merrick rd was still 3.83 at 8:00am this morning. i filled up!

It was 3.99 at the Exxon station by me on 25A.
Yesterday we filled up in CT and paid $3.85

i think it was $3.97 by me, but i filled up in Merrick last night and it was *only* (i use that term lightly) $3.85. And, for some reason, i was excited about that price

I am glad I filled up last Tuesday at BJ's for 3.72, I am going to AC on Friday so my next fill-up will be in Jersey.
