Ovarian Cysts
I was in the hospital in January for something unrelated and while doing an US they saw an single cyst on one ovary.
They said its nothing to be concerned about, and its fine.
Is this something I should be concerned about or call my GYN about?

Re: Ovarian Cysts
I would still call your doctor. While it is probably nothing to worry about, you just never know. I have had them and they've all gone away on their own (I don't know the technical way of saying it, but they sort of burst and are released w/AF).

Hopefully, it's nothing For what it's worth, I haven't had one in about 2 years (I usually have an idea when I have one because I get a very specific pain in my lower back)

I did some googling on them last night, and I have ZERO of the symptoms usually associated with them so Im not all that worried about it but a phone call cant hurt.
Thanks!!

Re: Ovarian Cysts
For one cyst...I wouldn't freak out.
Most women have cysts on their ovaries at times and it goes away on it's own.
I have PCOS -- and I would get a bunch of cysts that would grow large and then burst and the pain was out of this world.
But I was told that cysts exist all the time on ovaries and most women do not even know about it.
You can mention it the next time you see your gyno, but I wouldn't be too freaked about it at all.
