Ovarian cysts
Who else has them? Do they cause fertility problems?

I've had issues with them for years (both the PCOS kind and 2 of the larger, tennis ball size kind) and I got pg my first month of trying, so I'd like to say that no the cysts themselves don't cause issues. However, the related hormone issues if you have a condition like PCOS might.

i had a large one that was just recently removed.
they can cause fertility problems, but not always. it depends on the type of cyst and how many there are or how large it might be.
Also, many women have cysts on their ovaries that come and go frequently and cause no problems whatsoever.
do have cysts? i can recommed a good surgeon if needed.

it depends on the type of cysts you have...
i recently had an issue with a cyst i had,... it was overgrown in size..but eventually it shrunk down.. but i always get them . but doctor said its nothing to worry about..

i was told a very long time ago that it was a problem, i had cysts on BOTH ovaries. My OB in NY told me, 'we'll cross that bridge when we come to it'....
when i changed to my NJ doctor - she put all of my fears to rest by telling me, 'most people with cysts actually get pregnant easier'. I don't know if she was telling me this to make me feel better, or if it's fact, but i promise you - it made me feel MUCH better after 10 years of being convinced it would be a challenge.

I've had them (I do NOT have PCOS though) and I had no problem concieving DD....I was off the pill for 2 months, after being on for over 10 years, when I got pregnant
