outfit for engagement party
I have an afternoon engagement party to go to on saturday. It is at someone's house and I think the bride-to-be is wearing a sundress. Would a pair of dark jeans and a nice top be appropriate or do I really have to wear a dress? (I really hate wearing dresses) I could dress it up with shoes and accessories. TIA!!

what about nice leggings and a cute, long top and belt? Skirt?
Not sure if I'd wear jeans to a shower.

How about a pair of capris - kahki or something to that effect - with a nice top.
I have to agree with the PP - I don't think I'd wear jeans to an e-party either. Plus, you'll probably be hot with jeans.

I personally think the jeans are fine. We had an engagment party at my parents house and while I dressed up, most people wore jeans and a nice top
