Out with a question

Bloodwork says i'm not preggo. I asked the nurse what my numbers where and she said under 2. I still am not sure if i technically had a chemical. Haven't spoken to doctor about it.

My question is this...due to my age and the fact that i had a miscarriage in March and now possible a chemical..i am thinking i'd like to get checked out. I'm going to be 39 in October, i I have no desire to waste time..the problem is i technically have only tried 4 months and out of the four 1 was a miscarriage and this may have been a chemical. - SO would i RE even agree to see me? The other reason i want answers is because last week i had some weird spotting, i thought it was implantation spotting but now i don't know..im on cd38 and i have no idea when AF will come.
Should i check with my obgyn to see if they would do testing first? I'm a little hesitant to deal with them because when i spotted in the beginning of the month i called and the doctor didn't seem to think it was a big deal and kind of brushed me off.
I could really use some advice..thanks.

i would call a RE..usually they want to see u after 6 months if u r over 35...u have been trying for 4 months with a mc and a possible chemical..i think a RE WILL have no prob seeing u

an RE will see you. they dont generally reject anyone, especially if you are on the older side of 35. ive been following your story and it doesnt sound like a chemical if the beta is negative and you aren't bleeding. wondfos arent the most reliable tests - maybe you just got a bad batch? the def sent HCG tests and not OPKs, right??

spotting before AF is generally a sign of low progesterone, which is common and easily fixable with pills/suppositories.

thanks..i'm very happy an RE will see me. If it wasn't for the crazy spotting, maybe i'd wait..but i hate not knowing what's going on with my body. Time is goiing by too fast and i'm getting too old. Next week i am going to try to find a good RE and make an app't.

ps: I will never trust another wondfo ever again. I got positives, negatives, postives and then negatives. That's just not normal.

I had a weird spotting incident too and I went to my regular OB, I felt like he was very dismissive of my concerns. Several months later when I still wasn't pregnant I decided to go to an RE, my OB had left a bad taste in my mouth and I wanted to be taken seriously. I'm glad I went to the RE, he was very proactive and got me where I wanted to be, with .

I would hope a RE would see you so you don't waste any more time, I don't really have much advice just some for all you've been through this week!

I agree with everyone above. There is no reason an RE wouldn't see you. I think an appt with an RE is the best next move. Sorry for all you have gone through

when i had a chemical last year my frers and cheapos showed up pos with a beta of 1.8!!! the day before the beta my lines were dark and the day of beta practically not there so it is possible!
