Our girl is here and has a name!!!!!!
Samantha Paige: born 3/5/11 at 12:42 am.
6lb, 10 oz.
My water broke at 5:30 am 3/4/11. I showered and we drove to the hospital care free. No contractions really. Well, at around 8:30 am, they started and came with a vengeance. This baby gave me such horrific back labor, as she was positioned head up, instead of down. I was in agony from 9am -2 pm. Absolute WORST pain of my life, wont lie. They gave me the epidural while at 3 cm at 2pm and everything was heavenly.
We had a little scare during delivery. Her heart rate was dropping the further along I progressed. 10 cm was here before I knew it, and it was time to push. The cord was wrapped around her neck, and there was a rush to get her out. The Dr used a vacuum, and as she was coming out, she decided to do a huge #2, and inhale the meconium, further complicating things. She wasnt breathing well, and it was scary. She spent the next 9 hours in the NICU, but was brought to us 10 am the next morning with a clean bill of health, thank God. And, we finally got a chance to spend time, hold her and figure out a name for her. 
I did tear a bit, and have stitches, but the pain is child's play, compared to those contractions. She is so good, and so sweet and breastfeeding like a champ. I never cried such tears of joy like that in my life. My eyes are still swollen from 2 days ago. What an experience this was. I had such awesome nurses which really made this such a pleasure. I cant believe we created this little gal, and she is finally here. Image Attachment(s):

Wow, sounds like things got pretty shaky there. Glad she arrived safe and sound. She is absolutely gorgeous!! Congratulations!
