Our Complex is Huge!
Ok, so we got an invitation from our community club in our townhouse village to go to a adult only BBQ 8/25th for $20 per person at 8PM. We are so going. It says you can bring friends. Being we are fairly new and only know the neighbors right around our block (there are over 500 units), would you bring friends or use the event to meet new people?

It's a good opportunity to meet new people, but it's also hard to walk up to everyone and start a convo. Maybe bring one set of friends or just hang out with the neighbors you know and they will introduce you to others. Sounds like fun! Have a good time.

That's exactly what I was going to say. Bring one set of friends to chat with and then it may be easier to mingle.
