OMG that was incredibly rude of her children all hit their milestones at different ages i am glad the other teacher was so nice and postive!

Wow, how insensitive to say the least. You'd think someone in childcare would know better. I'm sorry you had to experience that and be so upset by it (I would have been too) I'm glad to see your update and that you feel a bit better. But jeez...that first comment was incredibly stupid.

DD is only 7 weeks old so she isn't walking obviously, but...
if it helps, when I was 5 my kindergarten teacher told my mom I was uncoordinated and even may have motor deficiencies b/c I couldn't figure out how to skip.
Outcome: I was a competitive gymnast and did quite well with it as well as track and field. So much for uncoordinated, I just thought skipping was stupid and I hated my teacher!
Some teachers can be very insensitive. Other's can be great, but it only takes one bad seed to make you or your DC to feel inadequate.

Sorry the teacher said such an insesitve comment . I woul dbe really upset too.
Glad to her ther other teacher made you feel better. All kids develop at different rates. Some talk sooner than others while some move quicker. You are a great mom and you will be chasing after your son in no time.
