Others cursing in front of your kids?
If you are at someone's house & they curse in front of your kids, do you say anything to them or just hope your dc didn't hear?

Others cursing in front of your kids?
I wouldn't say anything because I'd be a hypocrite. I have an awful potty mouth. I'm surprised DD1 who is a parrot and repeats everything, hasn't cursed yet. I'm working on keeping it clean but it's a very bad habit of mine.

DS is also too young to understand but I try to make them aware now. I saw whoa virgin ears - most laugh and apologize. But it makes them aware that DS is around

Now that I think about it, DH said douche the other day and she repeated it! And I made fun of him so bad bc he always says that if she curses, it would be from me.
I'm a terrible mother though lol. We listen to Howard Stern in the car. Luckily she doesn't pay attention bc she's too busy talking to herself lol.

I listened to Howard with my DS until recently. He picked up F It from a Bradley Cooper interview. At that point I knew I was lucky it wasn't worse!!!

Most friends or family we are with that will curse it's usually part of the conversation. Not like they're going on and on ranting about something angrily that's getting everyone's attention.

If guests/family were cursing in my home, I would definitely say something, but in general, as much as I dislike the use of bad language in front of children, I also don't feel that its my place to correct/censor/police people in their own homes.

I don't say anything, but people usually catch themselves, cover their mouths and say 'I'm sorry'. 
To me, it's not really that big of a deal.

Same! I curse like a sailor and I just cant help it. My DS who is 4 has never cursed. We teach him those are words he is not allowed to say and he doesnt. We also drink in front of him but that doesn't mean he is allowed.

We try not to curse around the kids, but it happens. When other people curse I try to ignore it. Or if it's someone I feel close to, I just say, "we try not to curse around the kids" or something along those lines.

It really bothers me when adults curse in front of kids, but I don't say anything b/c I feel like if I turn it into a big deal, my son will be more inclined to notice and repeat. Also, it's just generally unavoidable.

My kids aren't sheltered from bad language. They know not to use it themselves, but they hear plenty of it.
To answer your question, even if I didn't curse in front of my children, I'd never tell someone else what they could/could not say in their own home

Dosent bother me happens all the time people curse they forget so do I. I would feel uncomfortable telling someone to watch their language.
