we ordered the same set from BRU back in Sept. Well, they wouldn't let us ord it b/c the crib was out of stock although they were advertising the sale. now comes Nov & they finally had the crib shipped from Secaucus b/c they had called 2wks ago to say the set was in for us (we were on the waiting list since Sept 4th) and we told them we'd be in that night.....they sold it before we got there b/c the girl said she forgot to put our name on it. Long story short, we went last night b/c it finally came in from NJ and we used the 20% sale they are running now, plus we had the 25% coupon from the trade in event which they extended for us b/c of what happened & then we opened up the BRU cc to get 10% off on top of that. For the crib, & 2 dressers it came to $1011 :)
It is absolutely worth it!! We are way ahead of the game b/c I am not due until May but I loved the set & it was priced well when they had the sales. Its always on Back order so make sure to stay on top of BRU because it took almost 3mos for us.
Oh my goodness!! What store were you supposed to pick it up from?
I ask because DH and I went 2 Sundays ago and they happened to have ONE left in the store, so we picked it up then and there!
You really lucked out with your deals though!!! You go girl!

We went to the BRU in Bohemia...lol. what are the chances. It all worked out b/c we got it all now though :)

It's so frustrating that it's not available to order yet...because it's not like any other hutch would go with the set, KWIM?

I had ord a very similar set from Behrs with baby#1 and we got the hutch. it looks great & is perfect for books & baskets BUT, its also the changing table and the older the baby gets & the more they can sit up you have to more the shelfs or take them out all together b/c they hit their head. We didn't get the hutch this time for that reason ....HTH :)

ooo that's so good to know!! I will keep that in mind from the beginning and keep the shelves set higher to begin with so I won't need to move them too quickly

That is the set we got and I love it. Ours came last week and it is so well made, compared to others out there. DH is a stickler for sturdy furniture and this one was the best that we saw.
Congrats!! It's getting exciting now.
