Opposite Results
Has anyone had personally or know of anyone who was told the wrong sex of their baby during the level 2 sono?

this happened to my co-worker's sister. They told her it was a girl, she bought a lot of pink and then out popped a boy.

I was nervous of this also, however when I had my growth sono this past weekend the tech reassured me that is a girl.

This happened to friend of friend of mine. Told a girl, but was a boy. I read somewhere that there's more of a chance if you are told a girl, there could be a mistake since the penis could not be all the way developed or hiding. It's rare for the opposite, told a boy, then it's a girl.
Mistakes do happen, I think it depends on the experience of the tech.
I was told a girl at my level II, then confirmed at growth sono at 32 weeks, there was no mistakening those girl parts.
