What if you never get a dark line or smily? Last month I never got anything but a faint line. This month I am trying the digitals. I am following all the rules to a "T" and according to mymonthlycycles I should 'o' on Friday. But what if it doesn't show up again? Does this mean that I am not "oing" My cycles are very regular at 29 days.

I am probably asking too early but I am just wondering and a little anxious.

If you are going to O on Friday, you will likely get a line/smiley today or tomorrow.

First thoughts - are you testing between 2:00 & 8:00 PM. I know some OPK's tell you to test in the morning but the hormone that you are testing for builds in your system over the course of the day and between 2:00 & 8:00 is the right time to test.

Have you been on the birth control pill? that can lead to 'anovulatory' months....meaning you don't ovulate.

If you haven't been on the pill, and have a second month of non lines/smileys, i would reach out to your doctor to make sure something 'funny' isn't going on.

Thanks. I haven't been on the pill for two years. I have been testing at 6 pm after a 4 hour hold by suggestions on here. Last month I tryed early pregnancy.com opks. This month I am using the smilies. Thanks for responding. Hopefully last month was a fluke. This is my 3rd month of trying so this is still new to me.

I was using the Rite Aid Brand OPK and the CBEFM at the same time this month. While the CBEFM gave me two bars for fertility for 4-5 days, the Rite Aid OPK showed no signs of fertility. (Please note I took the CBEFM test early in the morning and the OPK around 5pm.) I tend to think that maybe the OPK's may not work as well with some women.
