OPKs & Ovulation
Can you gals clear something up for me!
Let's say I get a positive OPK on CD 18 & 19. Does that mean that DPO 1 is CD 20?
I guess what I'm asking is do you count the day that you got a positive OPK as the first day that you ovulated?

Re: OPKs & Ovulation
No, OPK's don't tell you that you ARE ovulating. They tell you that you SHOULD be ovulating anywhere form 12-36 hours after getting the positive. And 1dpo is the day AFTER you actually ovulate. They only way to tell if when you actually ovulate is to temp. Like for me last cycle I got my on CD18. Then on CD20 my temp spiked above my coverline and styed there for 3 consecutive days. That means I ovulated on CD19, make sense? So CD20 was 1dpo for me.
