Opk question
This is my first month using opks. When is the best time to test? I heard fmu is not recommended. Can I test after work or should I test in the afternoon? I drink a lot of water during the day, and I don't want that to effect the results. Thanks

I always use FMU. I can't hold my pee for 4 hours unless I'm asleep

They're not all the same so I would read the directions that came with your OPKs. Mine, for example, say FMU is NOT recommended as most women surge later on in the day. It also says to limit your fluid intake 2 hours prior. I also hold my pee for at least 2 hours.

Thank you for all of your responses.
The directions on the box are very vague that is why I asked for help. It only tells you how to collect your urine and perform the test. It doesn't specify the best time to test or how long to hold urine. Which I find extremely annoying! lol

I have used a fertility monitor and ovulation tests and both say to use FMU. I have never had a problem with readings on either. My RE also said to test in AM.
