OPK Question
Hi ladies, DH and I went on a long vacation during which I should have been Oing, so on a whim I bought a package of 20 CBE OPKs (the kind with the two lines that look like a pregnancy test). The package was $50 at CVS (!). I tested w FMU each day starting around CD10. At first there was no line and then I started to get a faint line a few days later, which then got progressively darker each day until it died out almost a week later. Does this usually happen (getting 2 lines for so many days)? When it started getting darker I used them 2X a day and the line was still dark. I assume the day it was the darkest was when I was Oing? It was my first time using an OPK. We BD'd a lot when there were two lines, esp when the line was darkest, so I'm hoping something sticks. I hope I was using it right!! Any tips with this kind of OPK are welcome.
Also I have about 8 left but the package says you can't use them after 30 days. Is that BS?

Re: OPK Question
i never used the ones you had exactly, but i used the first response ones that were similar and the point of the two lines is that you O when your line is as dark as or darker than, the control line. so it would be very normal for you to have a faint line growing darker for days on end.

Re: OPK Question
These test aren't positive until the test line comes up darker than the control line. So you probably only had a day or two of +.
I always used the digital to avoid trying to figure out which line was darker.
