OPK question
Does it mean that you haven't already ovulated if you get a + OPK? Can you get a + when you've already "O"? Thanks!

You get a + with an OPK prior to ovulation. The + on the OPK is the detection of the LH surge in your system which is an indication that you *should* ovulate within 24-36hrs. Also, just because you get a + on an OPK it doesn't always mean you will ovulate. You can have the LH surge but the egg never releases. I've had it happen to me which is why when I did get pregnant I got a trigger shot from my RE to ensure my egg released.

My OPKs say when you get +/ You should O in the next 12-36 hours. HTH

So if I got a + OPK at 12:30pm yesterday and then tested again at 5:00pm and it was -, does that mean I ovulated that soon after the + by catching the tail end of the surge? It is quite possible that I could have had a + at night on Saturday when I wasn't testing. From my symptoms I thought I was pretty fertile!
