OPK?
I'm thinking of going to get an OPK on my lunch break today...and according to the clearblue site calculator, i should start testing today...
If I wanted to test right after I got it, what do i have to do?
TIA!
ETA - Do you think OPKs add more or less pressure to the whole TTC process?

With OPK's they say testing in the afternoon to evening is best....between 3-7pm..you basically pee on the stick or pee in a cup and dip the stick and you wait. Good luck

Yep. What she said  As far as it causing pressure....that depends on the person. I loved my OPK's. I used Opks and the clearblue monitor and I didnt feel it added any pressure. I mean, sometimes it could get frustrating when I know we HAD to  and DH didnt want too but I loved the fact that I can pinpoint my ovulation.

I think it adds some pressure on dh bc u feel like u **have** to do it when u get a positive, but for me it is a saving grace. Got pregnant the 1st cycle i used it in june, and now again im realizing i O much later than i thought

i honestly thought it put more pressure when we were trying. Your best bet is to have baby dance every other day to ensure you won't miss out when you ovulate. Plus I think most people tend to baby dance around your positive OPK and then stop.
We tried the OPKs for a few months. they were expensive and didn't work. so the month we got pregnant, we baby danced every other day and also different times of the day and wha lah!!
I am pregnant with #2 right now and this was not planned. I have a 9 month old at home and they say after you have a baby you are very fertile. So this was a pleasant surprise.

Don't you not have to have had anything to drink for like 4 hours before POTS? I used it back in July and got pregnant my first time using it, but it ended in mc. I had to wait to try again b/c of my thyroid but am back to ttc. And I am going to use it again. My cycles aren't always regular so I need something to tell me when I ovulate.

it rally depends on the person...some feel presure some not..best way is to talk to your dh..or if u really want to be sneaky use and do nottell..then just seduce
but if u want my honest opnion..if u r very early in trying..just have sex..have fun..have as much as u can and enjoy doing it..do it as u did before just with no protection
bc when u get to where i am at..with a doctor doing it for you,you long for the days of just 2 people having sex and maybe making a baby
