OPK ??
I read the best time of the day to test is afternoon and not in the AM, but what do you do if you are at work during the day 
Is it ok to test around 6pm?
I wanted to try to do it the same time each day like it says to, but obviously I am not going to bring the thing to work with me.
Any advice?

this is a common question I test in the am with first morning urine (FMU) and I find that I get better results when I test then, as compared to the early afternoon.
It doesnt really matter when you test as long as you keep it consistant (same time everyday) and hold your urine for 4+ hours to build up the LH hormone in your urine.
Find a time that is best for you and stick with it. When it comes to TTC, there really isnt any one best way to do anything. What works best for you is what you should do

I read that in more then 1 place as well, so no I think you are right & that is why I asked because I figured "Hey do it in the AM since I always have to go when I wake up"

you are correct, most do say to test in the late morning or early afternoon into evening because your body metabilizes LH during those hours.
Some of the ladies here have mentioned that they get great results in the morning aswell and since you have to go when you wake up and you have already held your urine for 4+ hours, it is just easier.
Try both way, see which is easier for you and stick with that!

I've used it at work a few times. lol. If I have an event after work I really have no other choice. I just go into the large handicap stall and bring my make-up bag so when I emerge 10 minutes later people will think I was making myself gorgeous!

Too funny! - LOL.
That was my thought process also, if I have something after work because I usually do.
I was reading the insert that came with it and it said to make sure you close the bag tight once you take one out, don't store it above 85 degrees, yada, yada so I was not sure how I would transport the entire box with me.

Oh I'm using the small strips from earlypregnancytest.com. They come in tiny individual packages which make for easy transport...
You should see how much toilet paper I use to dispose of it afterwards so the cleaning ladies won't see it in the garbage. lol...it really is a sight.
