Opinions please
OK - so I am looking to get you opinion on something....
I have been offered a new job at anoter company for $11k more a year, after giving notice to me current employer they have decided to counter offer me about $6500 more a year plus at the end of each year a bonus of atleast $3k -
Here is my dilema - I have been at my current job 8 years - I dont know if I should leave beacuse its more money at the other place - I would loose my vacation time, sick time, sinority (sp?), plus my freedom...
My old job is offering me a title and some extra room to make changed when nec. in my dept.
WHAT SHOULD I DO......

If you are certain there is room to move in your current company...i would stay
Did you ever ask for raises or other positions in your current co? And what was the response?
I mean there was a reason you looked else where?

Well the counter offer sounds pretty good. If youre not happy I would say leave but if you are ok and can deal with it- Id stay- most times the grass is NOT greener on the other side- at least you know what you have here- but again if youre not happy then change is good! GL!!!!

Thanks everyone... Its just so sad - I have been there for a long time - Things got crazy and I put my resume on monster just because... And then the next thing I knew I was getting called.... I really only went on one interview... I think with the changes going on at my current job it might not be so bad there - but I still am not 100%.... I hate this....
