opinions on "showing" your belly more...
Do you wear clothes that accent or show your belly more? i hope this makes sense some maternity shirts hug your belly and "show it off" and some tend to disguise it more.
for example...i posted the pic of jessica alba from the tyra banks show. right now i would NEVER wear that sweater but maybe a few weeks ago i would have.
Personally i used to like the tighter maternity clothes that hugged my belly but now that i am getting bigger i am trying to find clothes that make me look...less pregnant. i just wish i could keep my 23-24week belly for the rest of the pregnancy
how does everything feel??

I feel better in the tighter tops and sweaters, plus I love showing off my belly! I love Jessica's outfit in that pic!

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
I tend to wear more "belly hugging" tops for two reasons. 1) I really love showing that IM preggers 2) my face has gotten HUGE and IM afraid that if I disguised my belly, I would just look gross and weird

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
the show-off the belly thing isn't for me.... I think I would have to be much thinner. I know for sure that in my 2nd half of pregnancy, a tight sweater would just make me look like a fat pregnant slob
I think it looks great... but only if a person can pull it off... I know I wouldn't be able to!

I love being pregnant and showing my belly. It's funny, the bigger I get, the more comfortable I feel in 'tighter' shirts. Maybe because I feel it's obvious that I'm pregnant and not just getting chubby
I also feel some of the 'flouncy' tops...just make me look fat.

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
I do both but lean toward the tighter tops (and at this point, even DH's shirts are "tighter tops" ). The bigger / empire waist tops make everyone actually look bigger, not smaller.

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
Well I just bought this top
so it is form fitting
Honestly, I have no idea why, but I am 31 wks and 4 days and I am definitely more comfortable and more happy with my prego body then I was in the 1st and 2nd trimesters. I am not sure why, but I am definitely enjoying it more, even though my back hurts.

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
I am 18w and have a slight bump.
I am into the shirts that hug the belly. Really so people can tell I am pregnant and not just getting pudgy like the Pillsbury Dough Boy!
I wouldn't be surprised if I feel differently in a few weeks since my belly seems to be growing rapidly.

I generally wear more form fitting clothes (tighter). I like showing my belly, takes away from the spreading arse and thighs

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
I prefer the clothes that make me look pregnant - not that make me look like I lost weight and haven't bought new clothes yet. Some clothes look like I'm wearing a bag over my stomach, I guess they are supposed to "conceal", but I look like a marshmallow. I prefer the one's that show a belly and compliment my figure for what it's worth.

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
At 37 weeks everything hugs my belly. If I looked cute and had a little baby bump I would think "oh how cute" but I feel huge and I wish that my clothes didn't hug my belly. If I wore anything lose I would look like I was wearing a moomoo and I don't like moomoos.

I think I will be showing off the belly. So long as the rest of my body agrees with that notion.

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
The tighter tops definitely looked better on me even up to the end but I think it all depends on how you're carrying. I gained 45lbs but it was all belly.

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
I hate being pregnant, so I wear clothing that disguises my belly. Most people would never know I'm preggers. Part of the problem is that my boobs are fairly larger to begin with, so during pregnancy they become huge and it's just not something I care to flaunt. If I had a normal size rack...maybe I would wear more fitted clothing.

I wear tighter tops. I'm tiny (barely 5 feet) so anything loose just makes me look like short and squat!

I love showing off my belly...granted I'm just 21.5 weeks but I do like wearing more fitted shirts. I think they actualy make you look smaller than something that just drops from the chest down.

Re: opinions on "showing" your belly more...
I look and feel better in the more form-fitting tops (plus I love showing off my belly). Being 5'7" and busty, I think the bigger tops intended to mask the belly make me look like a moose or a linebacker. The form-fitting ones make me feel more feminine.
