OPI- Chip Skip- or anything else that will work???
After taking the UV gel nails off, my manicures have not been lasting!
I mean, in the past, my nails would chip after 2-3 days (which is crazy) but now the are chipping in 1 day (sometimes even later that day!!!) I really cant blame it on the nail salons, bc i use a few different ones and the same thing always happens!
I blame it on the UV gels i used to have!!!!
The nail polish actually can peel right off!
Has anyone ever used OPI Chip Stip. Someone just told me and I was skeptical about buying.
Or...does anyone have a good remedy to have your nail polish last longer?????

Ask your nail girl to buff your nails so they are not shiny before she paints them. I used to have gels before my wedding and this seems to give me a little more time with my color. I also noticed that OPI lasts longer than Essie. Maybe that's just me though.

Its nails in general, my nail polish always chip off by day two or 3.
I have found NOTHING to help stop it.

this is why i always get my nails done in a color I have...so that when it chips - i can touch up. It makes the manicure last so much longer!

Ok I SWEAR SWEAR SWEAR by this top coat!!!!
I can use any normal regular polish...but this is BY FAR the ONLYT top coat that makes my polish last and last...and I'm talking through dishes and a 15 month old!!
L'Oreal Pro Manicure Nail Polish, Top Coat
Also, I agree...buff the nail so it's not shiny and then take reg rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover and swipe a bit across the nail to take off any extra oil that may be on there.
I never get manicures...I do my own nails, so this is what I do and I SWEAR it works. My nailpolish will last a week or so more.

I agree with this. I use Sticky Base as my base coat and Seche Vite Top coat and OPI polish and I can get 10 days to 2 weeks with no chipping.
