Only EWCM=ovulating? Yes or No?
Ok since i thought this week would have been perfect to BD since FF has it highlighted as my fertile days i've been mentally keeping a a note of CM to try and tell if i'm ovulating but this is SO confusing!!.
I haven't seen what i thought could be EWCM. That's the sign of ovulation right?
I'm beginning to think maybe I ovulate later in my cycle and NOT during the week FF estimates. Which might explain why i'm not getting BFP b/c i'm missing the O? This is why i wanted to start checking CM.
I did notice a slight increase in CM today; but not EW after i used the bathroom (sorry if TMI)
ETA: I'm hoping i just ovulate late and we can BD this weekend!!

Ya know I noticed this too.
When the calendar says I should be OV, my CM is not EW, it's different then the norm but not EW. It's AFTER that it's EW.

ok so i'm not alone! I think i'm ovulating later than FF says. I'm searching google on CM. right now it's more creamy which is what they say comes before EW. Hopefully if i keep checking it will turn into EW and we still have a chance!!

I'm one of the "lucky ones" I guess since my body starts sending out signals like 2 days before ovulation, but I've been using digital OPK's just to be sure, I live to see that smiley!

i found that ff and other sites were not accurate with my o day. but that is partially bc its my first month off bcp so i dont know how long my cycle is. from what i read up upon, unless you have a few months to track your history, they guess that you have a 28 day cycle...and put your fertile window right in the middle. seems for me, my cycle is longer than 28 days bc according to my opk i didnt o yet. but i did have ewcm...so i really have no idea what to think right now about ewcm and o

When I got pg with DS, I had been using FF and keeping track of CM. When I decided to use the OPK, I found out that I was ovulating MUCH later than FF was predicting- pretty much the last possible day that the kit said I could, according to the # of days in my cycle (32).

I never used FF but I also never got EWCM before O. When i was tracking just checking CM, I always missed ovulation! Once I started using OPKs I realized that I O'd a lot earlier than my CM was "telling" me. EWCM for me came a few days after O.
OPKs are so easy to use, if you even have a question about when you O I'd use them.
