One of those days
I am having one of those days where the stress of TTC just feels like too much. This is only our second cycle & I haven't even ovulated yet (I start OPKs tonight) & I'm already feeling pessimistic. If I'm like this now, the 2WW is going to be hell. I know we haven't been trying very long & I have no right to feel this way when so many people are dealing with so much more, but I can't seem to kick the pesimistic attitude. Plus, I'm already worried about getting pregnant & miscarrying (I may or may not have an increased risk of miscarriage because of my uterus  ). I never realized how stressful TTC could be.
I'm sure most of you can relate to days like this. How do you lift your mood & get your mind off of everything?

I was most stressed during the OPK timeframe. I found the not peeing for 4 hours, the timing, and the persistent lack of  very very frustrating. I was pessimistic too
BUT
after I got the and we started our BD marathon, I felt much better. This 2WW wasn't too bad for me at all! Of course I am obsessing about symptoms, but the rollercoaster of emotions isn't there.
So, what I'm trying to say in this rambling post is that stress/pessimism during the OPK phase does NOT mean you will necessarily be stressed during the 2WW or unsucessful with your trying
feel better!

Ugh the not peeing for 4 hours is not making me feel any better. I have about an hour to go & I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out

that drove me ape sh!t.... Couldn't do it. Best I did that week was 3 hours. I felt like I should get a medal for that.
Just hold it as long as you can.... don't suffer. It took me 3 days to conclude I didn't have to be an OPK martyr

me too
who else would understand a crazed woman (me 2 weeks ago) doubting she ever ovulates becuase she doesn't get a midcycle

oh i feel the same way!!! i never thought it was going to be sooooo stressful i HATE it!!! im VERY pessimistic!! I WANT THIS SOOOO BAD!!! and i want it even more cause im on a deadline this month cause of DH surgery so you def know im stressing out!!! i started testing last night cause i was scared i might miss my O! and when it came up - neg i was so mad! im to the point where i think about TTC at work. its taking over me!! i wish they could make this easier on us ladies!! keeping my fingers crossed for you that you have a good month this month!!!!
