One month later...
And my phone WORKS. 
It is a MIRACLE!!!!!!
As some of you may recall I put my cell phone in the washing machine around the end of March (on accident, lol). I posted on here asking if I was "effed" lol. The general answer was YES.
Well, I tried drying it out with a fan and everything else I could do for almost two weeks and nothing - it was dead. So, I gave up and took DH's phone for a little while and he used an old phone where he worked until we could figure out whether I wanted to buy a new one, get one from ebay, etc.
Randomly, tonight, DH decides to plug the charger into my phone - and it started charging!!!!! Then, once charged, it turned on like nothing happened and works great - ringer and all. I just got ALL of my texts in one shot from the last month LOL.
Thank God b/c I did *NOT* have any insurance for the phone - I can't believe this - I'm so lucky!

That's awesome! The same thing actually happened to my digital camera. A whole bottle of bubbles spilled under my camera (I work with children and it was our Halloween party) and the delete button didn't work and I couldn't scroll through the pictures...and then one day it worked. I'm happy your phone came back to life!

You are one lucky girl, If i was you i would get insurance on the phone because if GFB that happens again you can replace it.  I'm glad it all worked out for you.

Yeah, I can't believe it either - it is like coming back from BEYOND lol!!! Well, the thing with insurance is - the guy I spoke with said you need to either get it when you first sign up or when you renew or change out your phone for a new phone. I am going to look into it again but I swear that is what he told me. I guess they do this to avoid the people from calling the day after their cells broke to, all of a sudden, sign up for insurance, KWIM??

Wow, you are very lucky. I had a cell phone that was damaged beyond repair because I put it down on a counter that was wet.
