Once you find out you are pg...
How do you plan on telling your husband and family?
I havn't begun to think of it yet but I want to make it magical. I am hoping to be by christmas so I can give my parents and siblings some kind of "Aunt, uncle, grandparent " gift lol Maybe put a baby booty in a box

I want to do something similar... like put a pic of the sonogram in a #1 Grandparent frame, wrap it, and give it to my parents for Chanukah.
I'm prob just going pounce on DH as soon as "Pregnant" appears on the digital test!

I just can't think about how I plan to tell my family...... I'm too caught up on how I plan to tell DH, in case I find out I'm pregnant while he's not home!  Because........ of course, if he IS home, he will see me running into the living room with the test in my hand, dragging the pants by my ankles!

I am kind of excited that DH's works schedule has him out of the house by about 5am. That way when I get up to test w/ FMU he won't be home. When I get my BFP I plan to go out to get something to give to him that night at dinner. Babies r us has these t-shirts that say "This dad does diapers." and other cute saying. Or maybe buy a little baby outfit, or something. I plan to wrap it w/ a digital test, and give it to him at dinner if we go out. Or I was thinking what some other ppl do and making him a meal or all baby items, baby carrots, baby corn, mini burgers, etc.. until he is like what the hell is going on Even with all these possible ideas more than likely I will prob end up getting up early when DH gets up, and taking the test then jumping on him like a beast. Then I will prob take 100 more test while he is a work
I am thinking of telling our parents by putting our first ultrasound pic in a grandchildren frame for them. (If I can wait that long to tell them.) Or I was thinking of doing a countdown clock with the due date.

I'm not even thinking about that yet, last time we were trying for several months and I wanted to tell everyone at christmas. well I didn't get pregnant, and felt really upset . one of my cousins got pregnant and did exactly what I wanted to do, I was sooooooo upset  I got pregnant the following month, but I totally set myself up for dissappointment. this time I told my mom, we are trying, I'll let u know

I never heard of the baby food lolol
I had this idea, dh loves honey buns...And i was thinking of telling him that I have a bun in the oven for him, can you please get it out and when he goes to get it from the oven, I would put a fondont diaper or something on it?
Then i had an idea that I could tell him he has to take me to the mall and maybe go into a maternity store although theres one right by us.... hmmm

good to know! thanks! how long do they last? would it work if I took another right before we left and wrapped it?

good to know! thanks! how long do they last? would it work if I took another right before we left and wrapped it?
I've read that the newer tests will keep showing the display for UP to 24 hours, but at least for 12 hours. I think the older ones used to die out after 1 hour. Regardless, they all do completely turn off eventually, but I think you'd have enough time to show him later in the day.
