For me, it ranges anywhere from 5-10lbs. I know in order to get into some of my "smaller" sizes, I need to drop 10lbs

I have lost around 15 lbs and not changed sizes, but things started fitting much better and were more comfortable. I found when I went closer to 20 or so I've gone down a size.

I tend to agree with the above posters. However I think a bit of it has to do with how you carry your weight. I am bottom heavy so it can take up to 20 lbs for me to fully go down a pant size

it took me almost 20 pounds to lose a size but it alsom depends on where your loosing also sometimes you loose inches without lossing weight

I think its different for everyone depending on where you carry your excess weight.
For me it was 15 pounds........I can get into the next size down but its still a touch tight.
