Yes I am sick. It was hot in July so the central air was pumping. I am sweating it out the rest of the summer. Unbelievable.

Something must be wrong. My cental AC is on all day and night and our bill is only about $160/month. I'd examine that bill super closely! Good luck!

wow that is super cheap! my central air is also on all day and night and my bill was about $500 for the month.

We pay $124 w/ balanced billing. I'm checking my account now for a copy of the bill to see the actual amount but the bill isn't showing up. I'll check in the morning.
We have central air, AGP.

That is really cheap. We don't have central ac and our bill is $225 a month.

With the A/C running 24/7, and solar panels, we're spending less than $1 per day for electricity.

wow thats a lot, i want to say ours was around $270 for this past month and we also have central air running. i would call just to confirm its not a mistake.
ETA: we do not have balanced billing

It's really not "smart" it's just more of a convenience. It's not like people pay less if they have BB. You just pay different amounts at different times.
I am curious to the person that has BB what their actual consumption was that month. If your consumption was high and you are exceeding your BB, then you will eventually get an underage bill and a BB adjustment.
It all adds up to the same in the end.

I just checked my bill for this month. We signed up for balanced billing in June:
Start: June Months Remaining: 09
Usage To Date $ 302.57
Billed To Date 372.00
Balance in Your Favor $ 69.43
And we pay $124/month on BB w/ a 1500 sq. ft. house with CAC, AGP, ceiling fans, electrical appliances, etc.
ETA: This month was an estimate reading. Last month was Actual and for 2 months it was about $300 so $150/month.
Our thermostat is accessible via an app on our iphones so we can control it when we are not home. It knows about what time we get home on certain days so it will drop the temp so it's comfortable by the time we get there. We've saved a lot of money from this thing!
