OMG THEY'RE CHOPPING DOWN THE TREES!!!
I woke up to a lot of noise - looked outside - those trees I was talking about - they're coming down! The only thing is that we didn't pay for them yet!?!? Will we be receiving a bill? Can't believe this...Now we have to look into planting new trees :)

The town is chopping down your trees???? I responded to a post about this a few weeks ago. We had the same thing happen to us. We submitted a letter to the town asking that they look at two trees to see if they were diseased and needed to come down. They sent us a letter asking for $700 for the trees to be taken down. We decided not to pursue it at the time. We came home from work one day and our trees were gone. We didn't pay them either and they haven't sent us another bill!

They all just left (lunch maybe?) but the tree stumps are still there - will they come back to saw them down?
