How sad  I watched her parents on TV last night and it was just heartbreaking. Part of me still thought they may find her alive. I pray for her family and friends

I'd hate to say that I knew she wan't alive but to be missing on that island for that long is unrealistic. I cannot believe that they would kill her and think they would actually get away with it.
I was also thinking about the lighthouse as well, it's pretty quiet up there...
So sad.....

There are still conflicting reports at to whether they will lead them to her body or not. Maybe they raped her and are holding her captive somewhere..

i also had a feeling that she wasnt alive anymore....its so sad... they took advantage of this poor girl.. I am so mad to think that 145 students went on this trip with only 7 chaperones... no one saw or stopped her as she left the bar ALONE with these strangers. no one checked on her and only realized she was missing when she didnt show up at the airport???
I hope they find her for her familys sake...
its so sad because aruba is a beautiful island- that lighthouse is so quiet and peaceful and has a spectaclar view- now its going to be tarnished because of these men...

 I am so sorry to hear that she was killed i cant believe it! I am going to pray for her family and i hope that person who killed her gets the death penalty!
There is no death penalty in aruba.

$hit!!!!!!!! I still had the glimmer of hope she would be found alive..maybe kidnapped in someones house or something...
I am so disgusted by this...
But there is also so much that could have prevented this...thats what hurts the most.
What kind of "friends" are you to let your friend (WHo is or is not intoxicated) take off with 3 locals from the island? ANd, chaperones must not have done a body count or anything like that becaue they would know she was not there..and Nobody knew she was gone till she did not show up for her flight?
Why was there not a curfew? These were High School Seniors still...17 and 18 years old...
UUgh I am just so upset by this
how sad....my thoughts too...even now, as adults, you have to be careful who you go anywhere with, and where you go....if anything good can come out of this, hopefully everyone who travels will take caution.....that poor girl, though, one mistake and now this....
