I know that area well, it's very nice. it's right near Nesconset & Smithtown. so the location *is* good, and almost a 1/2 of an acre.
but that house needs to be burned to the ground. I can't even imagine the mold & termite damage that it probably has!
yes...i did assume that the price was for the area being 1/2 acre...
it is obviously a house to knock down
BUT it is still Ronkonkoma..
and IMO it is NOT "priced for the area"
hey they can dream right? that house will never sell for anything close to that in this market.

Looks like it was a foreclosure and the people trashed the place before they got kicked out.
There is BLACK MOLD on the wallpaper in the bathroom Which says to me it's been vacant for a while and/or there is a leak... perhaps the roof.
yup...it does look like whatever is on the ceiling in the bath is coming down

I think they put those pics there to show that its really in bad condition & not for the average buyer.
I'd rather see the pics BEFORE I schleped there to see the house & then saw the black mold in person.
I think the pics will save people trouble.
However saying that it is way below market value is a joke.

There is a buyer for every house. This house is not meant to be bought in any condition. The price is just an ask..they can ask whatever.
The right buyer for this house is looking for the lot. Plain and simple. Buy the lot for 200k or 250 and knock it down. Build a mcmansion on the property and either live it in or flip it.
An investor may want this.
