It took about two years of constant Snopes links before my mom finally realized that she should check there first before sending out mass emails....

my 75 year old gma is still working pt as a vp of a company and looooves her some email
she has fwded tons of people all those chain things and i show her every time.. look gma put it into snopes sometimes you can get a virus ! haha.. she loves those silly videos too
one time she sent a bunch of customers a silly video im like u shouldnt do that.. aw well she's a silly one what can i say... i taught her the email/internet thing now she has 4 email accounts and loooves to use them haha
my moms a big online shopper (and qvc etc)
I just got her on AIM so she can talk to my brother and sister in other rooms in the house and me a state away.. shes so cute with it haha

After constant prodding, my father finally checks Snopes before sending anything.
Except he calls it Snoopes.

oh my gosh!! this is my mom! she sends out sooo many forwards, its rediculus! i can always tell when shes been online when i check my e-mail and have like 20 new messages! LOL
shes also discovered ebay which is cool for the most part, except she seems to find the most useless stuff thats on there!
LOL i might have to introduce her to snopes, though... good idea!

OMG this is my mom....I sign on to aol and I have 30 new messages...29 of which are angels and warnings about viruses, starbucks, denzel, etc. No matter how many times i send back what snopes says, she still sends them out...good thing i have the delete button!
