Ok who else's mom is going crazy and

spoiling you like crazy? My mom came over and said lets go shopping, I said ok. Well it was to shop for me- she spent over 2k in maternity clothes for me from hangout to dressy Im pretty much set for the entire summer and fall. I couldnt believe it, I didnt know when she kept bringing me things to try on and if I said yea its nice she was giving it to the girl to hide from me behind the register and she was buying it!!!!! We went to Mimis, Babystyle and Motherhood. I love my mom, and I heard her too say this is my first grandchild to the girls working there. How cute, I was like awwww.

My sister and I are due 5 days apart and my mom is spoiling us like crazy.

My mom is being the same way!!! She has already given me an entire wardrobe, and now wants to start buying pack 'n plays and car seats, etc. It's so great to see the grandparents all excited!!!

Um, my mother is NUTS! She's SO friggin excited, I think she's going to explode! It feels really nice to be spoiled because I know come Monday, MY spoiling time is over, and it's all about Ava So enjoy it ladies, it won't last, I can tell!

My mom also went out and bought me a bunch of clothes. And, whenever I talk about items to put on the registry, she always says "don't put that on, I'll buy it for you." I was like, ma you can't buy me everything. But I guess she's so excited. Until the time actually comes and she sees how much everything adds up to be

Our Moms are the BEST!!!!!!

I know what you mean she is going crazy with the shower now and wants to get the furniture - its too much, I feel bad. But she wants to do this.

I cant believe though how expensive maternity clothes can be,

I just want knock around tshirts nothing great- where can I get those? DH's aunt mentioned Kohls. any other suggestions? TIA

Love my mom!!!!!!!!!! she is great and always goes above and beyond for me......Everyday I thank her and tell her how appreciative I am to have her and also for all she does... to momma!

My mom is BEYOND excited about me having a baby too (actually both my Mom & Dad are.. seeing my Dad excited is actually cuter than my Mom , because I didn't expect it from him )

My Mom has also went out and bought me clothes, has already started shopping for clothes for and overall does SO much for me. She'll send me emails at work all day long suggesting baby boy names (its a running joke) and checking up to make sure I'm ok..

Even nicer is this: we live very closeby and some days I'll come home and see she or my Dad will have stopped by the apartment and have taken care of the cat (fed/cleaned the box), or will have stopped at the grocery store to leave me some goodies My Mom will even do my laundry for me if she sees I'm havin a bad week ...

Hey, the excitement is so much more than anything else my mom has bought me. Just being able to share in all the great stuff to come with your mom is amazing

My mom has been great also. I know she offered to pick up the cost of my baby shower already. And my parents and DH's parents are paying for the furniture.

Also..my sister's bridal shower is next week...so my mom said she is paying for that too! And she picked up the favors and won't let me pay for them...and the cake and all the other things that go with the shower. I said I should at least pay half...and all she says is, you will have enough to pay for very soon...it's my pleasure to spend money on good things instead of bad one. So jokingly I said, I guess then I shouldn't call you if I need bail money since that would be a bad thing

ETA: I think I told my mom I was PG at 5 weeks...on a Saturday. That Monday she tells me started a college fund for the baby already

Now I'm really sad. My mom is in CA and the last time she visited, she blew off the plans we had and squeezed in an evening for me. I wish she were more interested in me or the baby.

Holy Crap, when my mother came to visit me when the baby was born they bought so many suitcases that my dad and husband drove home in the car with the cases and my mom and I had to take a taxi home! There was no room for us!

I am glad for it though, it was nice to have a large array of stuff when the baby was born, and onwards!!! I realise that it makes my mom really happy to buy us stuff, so OKAY, she can buy us stuff!

I should also mention my inlaws...they bought us the bugaboo and lots of other stuff!

my mom too! she took me on a shopping spree for mothers day and bought her grandkids so much already, pack & play, furniture, clothes, baby book.
